Tree

The tree command shows you the directory structure of your drive.

Example:

C:\>tree

If you want to see a tree of a different drive, just add the drive.

Example:

C:\>tree A:

If you want to save the tree into a text file, you can forward the text to a file with >.

Example:

C:\>tree >A:\tree.txt

The tree command draws the structure with characters that might be not valid in other operating systems. Therefore you can draw the structure with standard characters with the /A (ASCII) option.

Example:

C:\>Tree /A
